Montevideo .- ( www.federacionciclistauruguaya.com ). Since the start of the Tour of Uruguay in 1939, there was always the presence of cyclists Foreigners in the path of the test. The new Uruguayan cycling organization was a milestone in the 2008 when the participation of 9 international teams (number that surpassed the year 1996 which was 8).
In the history of 70 riders competed in 22 countries: Argentina, Australia, Belarus, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Denmark, Ecuador, Spain, United States, France, Holland, Italy, Mexico, Poland, Peru, Russia, Ukraine and Venezuela.
This year, all the numbers fall by the wayside with the confirmation of thirteen teams that come from exterior: the teams of Argentina, Brazil, Cuba and Chile to Colombia Orbea, Kelly AeroCat Strategies and the United States; Avai Florianopolis, Cycling Acme Argentina, Norland Hamburg in Germany, Costa de Azahar Cosaor and Reyna de Navarra in Spain and Planet Energy of Canada.

SELECTION FOR PAN AMERICAN GAMES CYCLING IN CHIHUAHUA MEXICO.
San Juan .- ( www.ciclismopr.com ). Cycling Federation sets the selection to the Pan American Games Cycling in Chihuahua Mexico. These Games will be performing from 8 to May 18, 2009.
The FECIPUR international competition ensures that this will help our riders for their preparation for the upcoming Central American Games in Puerto Rico.
The delegation that will represent us in Chihuahua shall consist of:
