ARMSTRONG ACCUSES FRENCH ANTI-DOPING AGENCY OF CHASING.

Paris .- (AFP). The American cyclist Lance Armstrong defended himself on Tuesday of misconduct in a doping control at the Riviera in March, which was the subject of a report, accusing the French anti-doping body of persecution.

Informed of the presence of Armstrong in the south of France, the French Agency Anti-Doping Agency (AFLD) has sent a doctor on March 17 at Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat to make it subject to a triple test urine, blood and hair, but according to the AFLD, the attitude of the sevenfold winner of the Tour de France was so little cooperative driver produced a report.

"I did not try to escape or delay the control that day. He returned just a day of training, I was not sure who it was that French was at my door, and when the UCI confirmed that he authorized me to make him control I stopped taking all samples that claimed ", said in a statement to justify the twenty minutes had to wait for shipment.

"I find incredible to have been screened 24 times without incident and that the first test made in France would result in accusations and negative things in the press leaked," says Armstrong, who is "just another example of the misconduct of the French anti-doping organizations. "" I feel they are disappointed that all controls were negative, but I do not use prohibited substances or products, "added the rider of 37 years.

The AFLD had indicated on Monday have forwarded this report to the UCI. But according to international federation rules, corresponds to the AFLD to determine whether the conduct constitutes a breach of Armstrong World Anti-Doping Code.
